Jane Chesson is a working artist who received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Delaware and her Master’s of Fine Arts in Painting from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. She taught numerous classes at Texas A&M University including Painting, Ceramics, Color Theory and Art History. Her experience teaching youth include five different Boys & Girls Clubs from Delaware to Texas, Incarnate Word Academy in Corpus Christi Texas and Belvoir Terrace a Fine and Performing Arts Camp for girls in Massachusetts. Her work has been exhibited in NJ, DE, TX and MA among others and is held in private and public collections in TX, NJ, NY, CT, PA, CA, GA and MA among others. She is teaching art lessons this fall at Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown New Jersey, Hinge Cafe in Philadelphia as well as private lessons throughout Delaware, New Jersey and Philadelphia. She also works contractually in cooperation with the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art in Wilmington, Delaware.
